The three that are there hold it on fine. Original replacement are available through OME Banjos if you like for cheap. There are two lugs replaced under the palm rest. Original 5 latch hard shell case included in very nice condition with key. more Has nice leather strap and Banjo key also with it. Neck is nice and straight and action is good with mediums. Has a 5th string second fret rail spike capo installed. Rosewood fretboard is in almost perfect condition.

It did even seem to have a little warmer sound? Maybe just me: Original Fiber skin head in excellent condition. I played it up against a Gibson RB250 Mastertone and it held its own. I just put a set of new Vega Mediums on it and it really sings. Bell brass tone ring and the solid woods of the upper level OMEs but is plain looking. This is the no frills models as far as carvings. Produced in the 70's when OME was a new company and these were all just about hand made. This is a Beautiful Used OME 5 String Banjo. I purchased this direct from Ome in 2015. So certainly the same can be done for one that was originally made as a lefty. One of the reasons I started playing tenor banjo was because, as a lefty, it was easy to find RH instruments and have them converted to LH. Assuming that you're right handed, all you'll need to do is have someone replace the bridge and nut (and armrest) to make it RH. Note: I'm a lefty and this banjo was originally made for me so it has the side position dots on the left-handed side of the fretboard.
